1) I think the purpose was to get the reader and people's attention.
2) I agree and disagree at the same time. Faith does fit her personality because she can be a innocent person, but can also be a bit weird. Her husband does really have faith in her because she's a weird kinda woman.
3) The pink ribbons signify many things about faith, it shows innocence because the ribbons come from pinking two colors together.
