The Great Gatsby Notes 4

The eyes are meant to see your surroundings. The street guy is selling dogs in the street for $10. Tom is acting foolish saying "Its a bitch" to Mrs. Wilson after asking for its gender. Fiction- a lie that tells the truth. Displacement- a character out of place. Anachronism- Person who is out of time.

Great Gatsby Remix

Chapter one is about a guy named Nick Carraway. Nick learned from his father not to judge others because their lives are different. He lives in a house in West Egg, next to Gatsby's mansion. His cousin, Daisy, lives on East Egg, so one night he goes to visit her and her her husband, Tom Buchanan. Daisy's friend, Jordan Baker, was also there. Tom tells everyone to read some book, that reveals that tom's a racist. They mostly talk and Tom gets a call from his other girl in New York. When he goes back home, he see's Gatsby. Once Nick turns away for awhile and turns back, Gatsby was gone

Daisy doesnt agree with Tom because Tom is being racist. Daisys attitude is that she is never happy, and also doesnt have nothing.

Everything is a Remix

Remix is just using the original music or something else and editing it. You don't need skills, expensive tools, and etc. ,but anyone can do a remix. A light bulb) is like representing our creativity or getting and idea. Domain Knowledge) In order to speak a new a language, you need to speak it like you know how to speak that language. Transformation) You can transform anything you want with music, etc.

Music As Literature

Yes we can consider music to be literature. Music is imaginative and a creative work. The difference between a poem and rap is nothing. They are the same because rappers write poems and use those as there lyrics. Some rappers also like to tell stories in their songs.
